Toyota Australia has acknowledged the dedication and attention to detail of its top performing dealerships with presentation of its coveted 5-Star awards for customer sales and service.
Customers of participating Toyota dealerships were independently surveyed during 2013 to determine their level of satisfaction with the sales process and their experience with the vehicle service department.
The 5-Star Customer Service Dealership Award recognises dealerships that have consistently met a strict set of criteria by offering exceptional customer service and routinely exceeding customer expectations.
Toyota Australia executive director sales and marketing Tony Cramb said he was pleased that more than a quarter of Toyota's dealers had achieved the highest-possible customer satisfaction status.
"This award program demonstrates our commitment to raising the already high standard of customer service across the Toyota dealer network," Mr Cramb said.
"It's part of a range of initiatives, which includes our annual National Skills Program, to provide Toyota customers with the best possible service from skilled and knowledgeable staff."
When the survey results were averaged over a 12-month period, 56 out of a total 209 participating Toyota Dealers in 2013 achieved the 5-Star combined rating for sales and service, as measured against rigorous criteria.
"The only way a dealer can achieve maximum 5-Star status is with a 'Customer First' culture and by continuously striving to improve their service and support," Mr Cramb said.
"As a result, you can expect the very best customer experience from our 5-Star dealers - the kind you'd be happy to recommend to anyone."
